My name is Brooke Daniels and I'm a portrait artist specializing in Modern High School Seniors, Sweet 16 Birthday Sessions, College Grad Sessions, Business Professional Head Shots, Couples, Destinations, Agency Models and Commercial Fashion. We are located in Stafford/Fredericksburg VA, serving Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland and the mid Atlantic. We offer destination sessions all over the globe and also provide limited mentorships to fellow photographers. We are also home of the OG ModSquad Senior Spokesmodel Team and ModSquad Junior Younger Teen Team.
I'm a southern girl at heart who grew up in Georgia and graduated from Auburn University. After college I became an event coordinator and also worked in the fashion industry, but my true passion has always been photography. I fell in love with the man of my dreams, said "I do" and started a family. After our son was born, I became a stay at home mamma (greatest job on the planet!) and that's when Brooke Daniels Photography began in 2007. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me traveling with my family in our camper, riding roller coasters, cheering for our son at a swim meet or at a volleyball match for our daughter.
The WHY behind the art... I believe that God has blessed me with a gift and the camera is just a vessel which allows me to love on people and help them see and feel their true beauty. This is way more than just capturing gorgeous images... it's about building self esteem, increasing self confidence, capturing priceless memories and celebrating everyone's own personality and unique beauty. Our editing philosophy is to be sure each client's natural self shines through and is not overly processed. Blemishes will be gently removed but gorgeous freckles will shine through! All of our sessions are completely custom around the individual and we create a full portrait experience for you.
